storytelling through nature

the art of floristry

It’s not just vases and bouquets. There’s a whole world out there, waiting to be created with flowers! As a floral artist I make those dream landscapes reality - and I teach florists how to create them too. All fuelled by emotion, filled with seasonal flowers & topped with a touch of magic.

students about their masterclasses

“a gold mine!”

“Anne, a true artist, welcomes you into her flower filled studio, her world. Paradise! She is a real coach: endowed with empathy, she listens and has been able to breathe new energy into me. Positive, funny, Anne sends you her good vibes and great advice. It was all a superb immersion where time stands still and you have space to think. If you want to renew yourself, improve yourself, always see further, and develop a natural floral style, I definitely recommend Anne's 1:1 masterclass. A gold mine!”

- Caroline, France

I left Anne’s studio feeling happy and confident in the future. After I came home, I got my first paid job to design the flowers for an event. Without this experience with Anne I would have never accepted it because I was not feeling good enough.

recent projects

magic was made

From floral reef to an installation depicting loss and from product shoot to emotional self portraits. My work is as diverse as humans are. Find a selection of some of my favourite projects below and see my full portfolio here.

floral reef, 2020

A deep love for coral reefs fuelled this installation, made with fluffy cotinus branches, lunaria garlands and the most important ingredient: dappled sunlight, mimicking the light moving through the water.

mister miara, 2022

A cheerful Spring backdrop for a vegan leather bag collection shoot. The flowers evoke a romantic and fresh feeling, even in an indoor setting like this photo studio.

send flowers to MMIW, 2022

Floral art dear to my heart. I created this piece for the Wild Mother’s #sendflowerstommiw. Inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book Braiding Sweetgrass, this speaks to the story of Indigenous folks on Turtle Island.

grief book, 2023

7 flower installations for a book on grief. Pictured here is ‘Guilt’. Other chapters are Anger, Relief, Fear, Perseverance, Loneliness and Time. Find out more about this project on my blog.

Real flowers, real stories, real people

I’m not perfect, but I try to work as sustainable as possible

I always work with real flowers. Fresh if they are in season, dried if it’s Winter. I source as local as I can and don’t use bleached, dyed or coated flowers. All my designs are foam free, I focus on reusable & compostable materials and dry my own flowers. If I end up foraging some special goodies, I make sure to forage responsibly. Leaving no trace and plenty for the birds&bees behind!

you are always talking to a real person here

Honesty, authenticity and connection are important pillars of my business. So over here, you won’t find any AI, ChatGPT or sales funnels. It’s always me and it’s only me. This one woman show means sometimes you have to wait a while for a reply. But know that you are always connecting to me directly. All my photos are from real projects, with real flowers & people.
